Nutcracker Ice Carving
Merry Christmas to all and to all some good ice! Here is our carving for Hometown Holidays in Redwood City Dec 6th, 2008. Helping were Regan Dillon and Shinichi Sawamura.
Elephant in Ice, Lubeck Germany
In 2005 I was commissioned to bring a team of carvers to Germany to carve for IceWorld in Lubeck.
We spent three weeks there and then traveled to Berlin for a week. In all we carved this elephant and a 1.5 life sized grand piano, helped finish the icebar, and carved a maze wall directing folks around the venue. The ice was manufactured in a 1m x 2m x 4m dimension and was crystal clear.
With me here are Ed Winslow and Regan Dillon.
